Our journey, which began in the 1950s at a small fish stall on the Black Sea coast, has grown into a production and export group reaching across Türkiye and around the world. The story that started with our founder Hüseyin Sagun’s modest taka fishing in Samsun expanded when his son, Kemal Sagun, established a business in Istanbul’s Kumkapı and began exporting in the 1970s. Under the leadership of our third-generation executive, Ahmet Tuncay Sagun, this legacy evolved into industrial fishing, spreading the “from sea to table” vision across every stage of the sector.
